Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) is a private equity firm based in New York. Established in 1979, the firm focuses its investment activities in information / business services and healthcare industries. Since its inception, WCAS has invested in more than 160 companies and funded 650 follow-on acquisitions. The firm is currently investing in 30 companies.

WCAS investors are public pension funds, private pension funds, banks, insurance companies, endowments and other institutional investors. The firm has managed 15 limited partnerships with total USD 20 billion in capital. It is currently investing equity fund WCAS XI and a dedicated subordinated debt fund WCAS partners IV, L.P.
