AP Alternative Assets, L.P. (AP Alternative Assets) was formed by Apollo under the law of Guernsey. AP Alternative Assets is managed by Apollo Alternative Assets, L.P. (Apollo Alternative Assets). It invests in private equity and capital markets investment sponsored by the firm.
Apollo is a private equity, debt and capital market investor founded in 1990. Headquartered in New York, it maintains offices in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Hong Kong and Mumbai. The firm is led by its managing partners Leon Black, Joshua Harris and Marc Rowan and currently manages a number of credit oriented capital markets funds, including mezzanine funds, senior credit funds, distressed and hedge funds and a non-performing loan fund.
Apollo’s investment approach is value-oriented. The firm has proven its method of traditional and distressed investment to quickly adapt to hanging market environments and capitalize on market dislocations. The method has been successful throughout prior economic cycles and has allowed its funds to achieve attractive long-term rates of return in different economic and market environments.
